In the secondary market, supply can often be the determining factor when designing and scaling a network build out.

We recently discussed an example of limited availability of the Juniper MPC4E-3D-32XGE-SFPP with a customer. The 16-port version of this card flooded the market lately, increasing supply and thus ultimately reducing price. Supply of the 32-port version meanwhile has remained constrained and even constricted from last year with prices increasing 30% since Q3 of 2019.
