We are finally starting to see our customers migrate from generation 1 MLX/XMR chassis and line-cards to Brocade's new MLXe converged platform. In addition to offering increased 10GbE port density (NI-MLX-10GX8-D, NI-MLX-10GX8-M, BR-MLX-10GX4-X) and the forward-thinking 100GbE card (BR-MLX-100Gx1-X, BR-MLX-100Gx2-X) the MLXe platform also offers new, increased density Gen 2 GbE line cards (BR-MLX-1GFX24-X-ML, BR-MLX-1GCX24-X-ML) that allow for license-based scalability to the higher performing XMR routing capabilities. The Brocade MLXe platform utilizes both MLX and XMR management cards (NI-MLX-MR and NI-XMR-MR) with accompanying line cards to offer a flexible and future-proof modular routing platform for customers of all sizes.
